1. Write the things you are most grateful of

Have you ever experienced something that was so meaningful that you want to remember it forever?  If so, then this is the time for you to start writing things down. You can’t just depend on your memory to remember various precious things or events that happened in your life. Time goes on and you will slowly forget those beautiful memories.

In addition, a study also explains that writing positive things before going to bed can reduce stress levels and improve sleep quality and relationships with other people.

2. Take time to clean up

The thing that might be holding you back from cleaning your room is how much time it takes you to clean up all the mess in your room.  You don’t have to clean all of your things at once and you can take time to do each task. Spend at least ten minutes each day cleaning your room.

In ten minutes, you can sweep the room or tidy up the pile of clothes in the wardrobe.  But keep in mind you have to do it consistently. A tidy and clean personal space can help you to sleep better and work more productively.

3. Create an effective routine

Have you ever started your day feeling tired and unmotivated? If so, then this could be a sign that your daily routine is not running optimally and effectively. The morning routine should be able to stimulate your body and mind so that you have enough energy to carry out the daily activities. You can adjust your morning routine according to your condition.

For example, you can start your day by reading or watching the latest news, taking a leisurely walk, or listening to a podcast while getting ready.  

For your evening routine, you can do various activities that can relax your body after a long day. For example, reading, writing in a journal or watching your favorite series while getting ready for bed.

4. Take a break from social media

Social media is like an abyss and you can spend eons on your phone screen doing nothing but watching videos all day. Aside from being unproductive, seeing people’s lives through the lenses of social media might make you feel insecure and start comparing your life to them. This can affect your mental health without you realizing.

5. Meditate

Meditation is the same as practicing mindfulness. It helps keep you calm, think clearly, and lowers your stress levels. In addition, meditation also helps you to deal with negative emotions that you have been experiencing. Thus, your mental health can be better kept.

6. Exercise regularly

Exercise is a very important activity for every individual to do on a daily basis.  Besides being good for your physical health, exercise can also improve your mental state. Exercising can release endorphins, thus it will make you more confident and help you to relieve stress.

7. Eat healthily

Not many realize that what you eat is what you become.  Food determines our mood and greatly affects our mental health.  Try to avoid fast food, give up sugar and start enjoying healthy food. If you eat clean, you will also have a cleaner body system. Eat more fruits, and vegetables, according to your body’s needs. These things will fulfill your body’s nutrition and will help you to be more active when doing activities and help your body to grow better.

8. Save money better

A frugal lifestyle certainly has many benefits. One of which is definitely to help make your financial capabilities healthier. Applying healthy financial patterns can also make our lives happier. By managing the income and expenditure of funds we will be better able to save and allocate this money for more important needs.
