Where are you up to? Visiting Arabia this year? please don’t go alone. There is nothing in Saudi Arabia. You would get into hot waters. My paternal uncle warned me of my planned Saudi visit which turned to be an ever-exuberant experience. This is an irksome popular belief about this splendid easy Arab territory which makes you undoubtedly dubious.
You would surely find people talk nonsense and useless about this wondrous kingdom without having a single hunch on what is happening around this Arabian world. It’s equally surprising and saddening that even the God-Fearing Muslims have confined their steps around the outskirts of Kaaba for their religious itineraries alone. The same goes for my familial fellas who just occasionally manage to book cheap Umrah packages online with flights, perform Umrah and rush to their homes.
They neither bother their eyes to uncover the hidden gems of Saudi Arabia nor let anyone experience the welcoming environment of the postmodern moderate Muslim State. Because they still mentally live in the 90s backed by an extreme interpretation of religion. Among those religious extremities were the ruthless laws of male and female segregation. This law of gender separation gave the male, the authority to make decisions for their females.

1. Dubious Media Interpretation
Being a journalist, a lot more disturbing is there with the media portrayal of the Arab Muslim territory. The one-sided media stories calling an Arabian territory as unsafe, ultraconservative and threatening can be shattered only when you land your own feet in the human-friendly Muslim territory. I hope that my use of the best word “Human” would clarify your probable doubts about this safest Muslim State.
2. Saudi Arabia- A Woman Welcoming State
Well, I have very good news for my fellow girlies. Yes, you need no male consent for your exciting Saudi travel. Next time, if you go for Saudi travel you will not have to worry about travel permission. Just pack your suitcase with your green passport as an adult with a full-size Saudi Visa.
The moderate Muslim Arabian public has started to accept young men and women working together and even meeting in public.
3. The Only Dress Restriction
The only Dress restriction for Muslim and Western lasses alike is present in the State. You would love draping the colorful long Abayas. An Abaya is like a long loose garment of the Saudi Women. It is also a sort of Saudi fashion statement for females.
4. Gender Definition of Saudi Arabia
Gone are the days when the singles and divorcees needed to strife for the male travel consents of their husbands, uncles, and sons. Now the adulthood definition of Saudi Arabia is gender-neutral. Both men and women are now adults for Saudi Arabia when they reach the age of 21.
5. The Women-Friendly Saudi Directions
Saudi Arabia has witnessed some pleasant changes in women-friendly directions in particular. From the past very few years, the fair Sex of Arabia is practically enjoying their due place in the Kingdom. They are supported by embracing changes in women’s rules and regulations. These regulations include lifting the ban on Saudi Women in 2017 and its actual implementation from June 2018 and the latest friendly changes in travel policies for women quota.
6. Female supported Entrance in Saudi Arabia
The reason for my entrance to Arabian land is quite interesting. Because I had a female backing behind my Saudi trip in the form of my bosom school friend, now living in Riyadh. She is the cause and reason of my Saudi trip. She told me about the generous amenities being enjoyed by herself and her family. Her powerful way of convincing was the ultimate reason for my confirmed Saudi Visitation.
7. The Inspirational Throngs of Women Saudi Drivers
After landing at Jeddah Airport, I saw Amina waving me from her car. I was mesmerized. How can a girl alone wonder in an ultra-conservative Islamic State? I said to myself. I drive my car.!! Please be seated…! She made my facial contortion normal. She escorted me to her beautiful home with a beautiful courteous family.
En route to the home from the Airport, I witnessed numerous cars with Abaya adorned women Drivers. I could sense the sense of satisfaction on their faces after the lifting of the ban from Driving.
My friend said that she has never felt as empowered and independent before as now she feels after the elimination of Driving ban for females.
8. Welcoming Benefits of Saudi Female Driving
The Saudi Kingdom is surely on the way of broadening horizons. Amina also told me about the embracing benefits the Saudi Fair Sex drivers enjoying in the State. The welcoming benefits of Female Driving Consent are the following
9. Partnership with the Sense of Ownership
Driving Consent has brought a sense of equal partnership and ownership in Saudi Arabian women. They can keep pace with their men and share their responsibilities. In the past decades, the women were authorized to buy a car on their names but refrained from the Driving seats.
They had to wait for their male guardians and private male cab drivers to go for shopping and moving on the streets. They can now drive themselves to go on their workplaces, can run day-to-day jobs and go partying with their girlie buddies.
10. Matter of Pride and Honor
According to the Women Friendly Royal decrees, Saudi women are free to become the sole owners or buyers of their four-wheeled vehicles. They are free to roam the Saudi Streets on their cars. Driving consent has created a sense of pride and honor in their personalities.
11. Reduced Extra Expenses
Saudi Female Driving Consent has saved a big chunk of their salaries. Because hiring a male private cab driver was expensive for them. The additional inclusion of administration fees besides the driver’s fare was troublesome for the fair sex. To order to get them to their destinations, the private driver charges the administration fee.
Amina said that the women now are cognizant of the GPS so they need no more male guidance in mapping out the way of their destination.
Furthermore, relying on taxis is also costly and problematic. Driving Consent has enabled Arabian women to save an extra cost of taxi hiring. Now they can invest their money in the cars they own personally.
12. A decently Segregated Saudi Lifestyle
I had a super-duper Saudi Stay with lots of pleasing memories to bring back to my home. Unlike the 90’s ultra Conservative approach of gender separation, I witnessed a moderately segregated Saudi society with the defined and assigned gender roles for both sexes.
I even found modest Saudi males giving utmost respect to the women there. So buckle up for your planned Female friendly Saudi trip with utmost ease and contention. You would have a great time.
